Adding items to a BennyList wishlist takes a few seconds. The fastest way is to paste a product link from any store — Benny automatically fills in the photo, name, and price for you. You can also add an item by hand if you don't have a link.
The steps below are the same whether you're on a desktop browser, an iPhone, or an Android phone. The only difference is that you tap on a phone where you would click on a desktop.
Step by step
Add an item in four steps
Open your wishlist and select Add Item
From your wishlist page, click (or tap) the purple Add Item button at the top, or the floating + button in the corner.
Paste a product link
In the box that opens, paste a link from Amazon, Target, Walmart, or any store. Benny fetches the photo, name, and price automatically.
Review what Benny found
Check the auto-filled preview. If it looks right, choose “Looks good — continue.” No link? Choose “No link?” to type the details yourself.
Confirm the details and save
Adjust the name, price, quantity, or add a note for family and friends, then choose Save item. It appears on your wishlist right away.

Add items directly from your browser
Found something while browsing Amazon, Target, or any store? Tap your browser's Share button and choose Add to BennyList — the photo, name, and price fill in automatically, then you just pick which list to save it to. No copying and pasting links required.
Browse to any product in your phone's browser
Open Safari, Chrome, or any browser and find the product you want to add. You can use Amazon, Target, Etsy, or any other store.
Tap the Share button
In Safari tap the square-with-arrow icon in the bottom toolbar. In Chrome tap the three-dot menu and choose Share.
Find "Add to BennyList" and tap it
Scroll through the share sheet and tap "Add to BennyList." If you don't see it, tap "More" or "Edit Actions" to enable it.
Choose a wishlist or registry and save
BennyList shows a preview of the item with the photo and price auto-filled. Pick the list you want to add it to and it saves instantly.
Don't see BennyList in the share sheet? On iOS, tap Share → More (Edit Actions) and enable "Add to BennyList." On Android, it appears in the Share via menu after the app is installed.
On Android the Share menu looks slightly different, but the steps are identical.

How do I add an item to my wishlist?
Open your wishlist, click or tap the Add Item button, paste a product link from any store, review the photo and price Benny fills in, then choose Save item. The item appears on your list immediately.
Can I add an item without a link?
Yes. When the Add Item box opens, choose the “No link?” option. You can then type the item name, add an optional note and price, upload your own photo, and save it — no product URL required.
Which stores can I paste links from?
You can paste a product link from almost any online store, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Etsy, and most retailer sites. Benny tries to pull in the photo, title, and price automatically. If a preview doesn't look right, you can edit any detail before saving.
Is adding items different on iPhone or Android?
No. BennyList works the same way in your phone's browser and in the iOS and Android apps. The steps are identical — you simply tap instead of click. The same Add Item button, link paste, and save flow apply everywhere.
Can I add items using the Share button in my phone's browser?
Yes — this is one of the fastest ways to add items. While browsing any store in Safari or Chrome, tap the Share button and choose "Add to BennyList." BennyList opens automatically, shows a preview of the item with the photo and price filled in, and lets you pick which wishlist or registry to save it to. If you don't see BennyList in the share sheet, tap "More" or "Edit Actions" on iOS to enable it.
Can I change an item after I add it?
Yes. Every item can be edited after it's added. Open the item on your wishlist to update the name, price, quantity, photo, or notes at any time.
