How to Use the Gift Calendar on BennyList
See every upcoming birthday, wedding, and holiday in one place. Events from friends' wishlists populate automatically — click any event to open the list and start shopping.

Get started with the gift calendar
Open the Gift Calendar from your dashboard
Click Calendar in your BennyList navigation. The calendar shows all upcoming events from wishlists and registries shared with you or followed by you.
See upcoming events at a glance
Events from your friends' wishlists appear on the calendar on the date they set. Hover or tap an event to see the list name and a quick link to open it.
Click an event to open the wishlist and reserve items
Clicking a calendar event takes you directly to the wishlist. Reserve items from there — items you've already reserved are marked so you don't lose track.
Get reminded before the event
BennyList can send you a reminder email a few days before the event date so you have time to shop. Enable reminders in your account notification settings.

Where is the gift calendar?
Click Calendar in your BennyList navigation menu. It shows all upcoming events from lists and registries that have been shared with you or belong to people you follow.
Why don't I see any events?
Events only appear if the list owner set an event date when they created or edited their wishlist. If a friend's birthday isn't showing up, ask them to add an event date to their list.
Can I add my own events to the calendar?
The calendar pulls events from wishlists — it isn't a standalone calendar you can add arbitrary events to. To add an event, create a wishlist and set its event date. That event will appear on your calendar and on the calendars of anyone who follows you.
How do I get reminders before an event?
Go to Account Settings > Notifications and enable event reminders. BennyList will send you an email a few days before each upcoming event.
