See who bought what in four steps
Open your wishlist from the dashboard
Sign in to BennyList and click the wishlist you want to check. Purchases are tied to the specific list the items were reserved from.
Find the "View Purchases" section
Scroll down past your items to the View Purchases card, or look for the Purchases link in your list menu. This section is only visible to you as the list owner.
Wait for your event date to pass
Purchases stay hidden until after your event date — this keeps the surprise intact. Once the date passes, BennyList automatically unlocks the purchases view.
See who reserved what and send thank-yous
Each reserved item shows the buyer's name and (if they left one) a message. Use this to write personal thank-you notes for every gift.

Purchases are hidden until after your event date — set an accurate date when creating your wishlist.
You can see reservations at any time; you just can't see who made them until after the event.
If you didn't set an event date, you can add one in wishlist settings — purchases unlock the next day.

How do I see who bought things from my wishlist?

Yes — your wishlist shows a Reserved badge on each item that has been claimed, but the buyer's identity stays hidden until after the event. You can see what's been taken without knowing who took it.
Do buyers know I can see their names?
Yes. When a buyer reserves an item, they are told that the list owner will be able to see their name after the event date. This is expected — it lets you write thank-you notes.
What if someone reserved an item by mistake?
The buyer can unreserve an item before your event. Once unreserved, the item appears available again and won't show in your purchases view. If you spot an error after the event, reach out to the buyer directly.
